Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Athlix website or mobile application (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Athlix (“we”, “our”, “us”).

2. Description of service

Athlix is a team fitness platform providing AI-generated training plans, team leaderboards, and progress analytics for athletic groups and squads. The Service is currently in pre-launch; access is provided via a waitlist. Features described on the website represent the intended product and are subject to change.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using Athlix you represent that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

4. Waitlist

By joining the waitlist you agree to receive email communications about Athlix, including launch announcements and product updates. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the Service and confers no contractual right to the product.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute content from the Service without our written permission.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or any content that infringes third-party rights.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm other users.

6. User content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (workout data, profile information, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, and process that content solely to provide and improve the Service. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

7. Health & fitness disclaimer

The training plans and fitness content provided by Athlix are for informational and motivational purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice. Before starting any new exercise programme, consult a qualified healthcare professional, particularly if you have an existing health condition or injury. Athlix accepts no liability for injury or health complications arising from use of the Service.

8. Intellectual property

All content, branding, software, and design elements of the Service are owned by or licensed to Athlix and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

9. Subscriptions & payments

Athlix will offer free and paid subscription tiers upon launch. Pricing, billing terms, and refund policies will be published before any charge is made. We will not charge you without your explicit consent.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. You may also close your account at any time by contacting us at support@athlix.app.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Athlix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or £100.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email (where we hold your address) and by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
